Deprivation diets that take away essential components like carbohydrates or fats may leave you feeling unbalanced and weak, not to mention hungry.

The diet is simple, appealing and effective for most people trying to lose fat. However no diet should be thought of as a magic fix. It is necessary to add some level of activity, not only to burn fat and build muscle but also to keep the heart and lungs healthy and strong. Regular exercise has been linked to lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, a minimized risk of certain diseases and even stress relief. If you are someone who doesn't think they like working out, find a fun physical activity you actually enjoy and you will be more likely to stick to your exercise plan.
